At the peak of Summer 2023, on the evening of Saturday, August 5th, EOYDC’s second annual Black Futures Ball will bring together the Oakland community in a high-energy immersive experience that celebrates the future--our young people.

We’ll open the evening with a catered sit-down banquet dinner honoring our scholarship recipients, followed by a night jam-packed with interactive activation spaces, performances, local vendors on site, a costume contest and much more! Attendees will have the rare experience of interacting with museum exhibits while enjoying craft cocktails, champagne and small bites during this private event.
