Ryan Nicole Peters

When I reflect on the influence the East Oakland Youth Development Center has had on my life, I can only think of one thing: Growth. Being involved in the opportunities afforded to me via the programs in EOYDC has allowed me to mature in ways and directions I never expected upon approaching the double doors of the Center. My experiences at EOYDC have fostered a sense of confidence in me and been applicable to every situation I have encountered.

Some of my most remarkable moments have occurred just in the breezeways of the Center. My high school California State track & field victories developed between the purple and gold walls of the gymnasium. My professional and management skills; honed just above the cafeteria during my two term administration as the SCEP Program Director.

A Few "Kodak Moments"
