
2014 Pathway to College and Career (PTC2) Scholarship
2015 Pathway to College and Career (PTC2) Scholarship
PTC2 awards scholarships ranging from $500 – $2500
APPLICATION CRITERIA:
- Applicants must be actively engaged in EOYDC programming at least 3 months prior to application deadline
- Applicants must be seeking full time status in school (4-year, 2-year, or graduate school) and be enrolled for Fall or Summer of 2015
- Applicants must complete 10 hours of volunteer service at EOYDC. Some examples of service include:
- Actively participating in Brotherhood Across America
- Attending and leading PTC workshops (in person or via skype/google hangouts)
- Leading tours on your college campus
- Volunteering with any EOYDC department (on site or remotely)
- Applicants are required to complete the online application* as well as email all supporting documents listed
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:
- Graduation Photo
- Transcript
- Letter of Recommendation
- Proof of Enrollment
- Student Aid Report (FAFSA)
- Completed Community Service Form (download here)
- Acceptance Letter (high school/transfer/graduate students)
If awarded a scholarship, additional documents will be required
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
- Deadline for receipt of the online application and emailed supporting documents is Thursday, April 30, 2015. Applications received after that date may not be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered for the scholarship. Email all supporting documents to ptc2@eoydc.org.
PTC APPLICATION TIMELINE**:
- April 30, 2015: Application and Supplemental Documents Due
- Early May: Applications reviewed
- Late May – Early June: Scholarship Interviews
- June: Scholarship Award Letters Sent
- July: Something for Everyone Fundraiser (scholarship recipients are required to attend)
- July: Additional Documents Due
- September – November: Scholarships Disbursed**
