Participants get an introduction to sculpture, a history lesson and an on the art of other cultures. They learned the importance of art, how art can develop self-respect, self-worth and self-sufficiency.  The workshops were conducted by Master Zimbabwean sculptor, Witness Bonjizi.

Participants were given the tools and stones to begin work. Each student chose the stone they wanted to work with. Mr. Bonjizi discussed with each student to get what he or she wanted out of the stone. We will be working on another for the next year!
