The Home Alone cooking class is designed to give participants skill in food preparation, use of utensils, food shopping, menu reading, and kitchen cleanup and table setting. They learn about the importance of eating a healthy nutritious meal. They prepare simply meal that they can prepare at home. Fieldtrip are scheduled to farmers markets, restauants, and other places we feel with expand their knowledge of the food industry. Classes are for youth 10 years and older. From time to time we conduct classes for youth under ten.
Our instructors are experienced chefs who have or presently work at restaurants in the Bay Area
